CityofPigeonForgeTN is a nonpartisan site open to Pigeon Forge voters, citizens, workers and visitors of Pigeon Forge.   Reading the local newspaper, The Mountain Press, prompted curiosity followed by investigation.  Time to do searches on other Pigeon Forge city documents and sites speaking on the topics surrounding Pigeon Forge city government.

Investigation was an eye opener!  The Mountain Press online comment numbers seem not to match the actual number of comments made on many articles, actual number for comments made seem higher than actual comments presented in several cases.  Many stories, printed by The Mountain Press, that would seemingly bolster readership response and increase online presence, are left off.  Pigeon Forge City Minutes, posted online and their city site, seemed very vaugue and uninformative when compared to press releases and what few public responses that could be found across the Internet.  Phone discussions with several Pigeon Forge inhabitants, mentioned by name in online articles, proved most helpful in determining the need for an open unbiased forum.
